
| Rob Davis is married to Linda, with
three children and resides in New Castle, IN on their 160 acre farm. He
is a horseman, active in his local church, spectator to all of his
kid’s events, and plays amateur sports of all types, especially golf
and coaching girls‘ volleyball.
Rob Davis is a Wisconsin
native and a graduate of Purdue University School of Engineering in
Materials Engineering. He spent 18 years in the Metal Casting business
working for Grede Foundries at four locations in the United States as
well as spending time traveling to Asia and Europe on their behalf. His
final assignment was as Vice President - Operations of the New Castle,
IN facility, a $50MM heavy automotive ductile foundry which he
resurrected from being closed.
In 1999 he joined Frank Miller
Lumber Company as Operations Vice President for this large vertically
integrated lumber mill specializing in Quartered and Rift lumber
serving customers world-wide. After overseeing an expansion and
additional facility construction, the opportunity to purchase his own
business drew him from FML in 2001. Currently, he is owner and
President of Spiceland Wood Products, Inc., a manufacturing firm
supplying the residential and commercial marketplace with customized
products. |
